Prairie Gold Produce is a privately owned Canadian company operated by Blair and Diane Rombough of Taber, Alberta. The Rombough family started working in the potato industry in 2001, by forming J.E.B. Transport with the goal of providing superior transport solutions to area potato growers. That company continues to evolve its customized carrier services and now operates across Canada and the United States, serving both the needs of farmers and processors in this growing industry.

Blair and Diane took over Prairie Gold operations in 2023 with the goal of growing the business to better serve an expanding customer base. Prairie Gold has been supporting local retailers and food service operators by providing them with only the best Alberta-grown potatoes for forty years. Prairie Gold’s fresh pack facility ensures its customers get the freshest potatoes while keeping their environmental footprint small.

To meet the global demand for potato products Prairie Gold Produce has developed a unique manufacturing process that turns its potatoes into powdered potato granules for easy shipping. This refined process allows our international customers to experience the amazing flavour of Albert-grown potatoes with minimal environmental impact.
